As the capital city of Idaho, Boise is the best known of the Treasure Valley’s communities and the largest city in the state. Boise is a beautiful, vibrant city boasting an excellent quality of life and many economic options.
Boise is home to several Fortune 500 companies with national and international operations. Technology and agriculture being the largest industries, Boise benefits from many companies including Micron, J.R. Simplot Company, Hewlett Packard, DirecTV, and Albertsons to name a few.
Located along the beautiful Boise river and at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, opportunities abound within and just beyond the city limits. Whether you’re into biking, hiking, kayaking, boating, skiing/snowboarding, or more relaxing options such as floating the river, walking along the greenbelt, or soaking in hot springs, you will find ample outdoor recreation opportunities in the area. There are also plenty of great dining, entertainment and shopping options available.
Boise State University is also located along the river near downtown Boise. The research university enrolls over 26,000 students seeking both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The city is proud of its Broncos, and of course, one of its most known characteristics, the unmistakable blue turf of the Broncos football stadium.
Boise is ready for you to call it home and has plenty of real estate options to choose from whether you prefer a suburban home or living downtown in a condo or loft.
